Peanut butter science

Background: This summer, my part-time employer Google began stocking its refrigerators with fresh peanut butter and celery sticks, which became my favorite afternoon snack until I noticed I was putting on weight.

The following conversation took place with my husband last night.

Ellen: Remember my telling you last month that my pants felt tight after I started eating the peanut butter at Google, so I stopped eating it? My pants no longer feel tight.

Keith: So peanut butter must have an effect on elastic.

peanut butter

Your husband's comment is very funny! If you continue to eat more peanut butter and celery sticks, your weight and especially your health are going to suffer. You are going to be sick and fat.

Read vs. Manufactored

Depends on if you are eating real peanut butter or the corn syrup laced peanut butter produced in factories for mass consumption.

Corn syrup is NEVER healthy and will definitely cause weight gain.

If you want to eat a healthy protein snack I suggest making your own peanut butter or buying one that contains ONLY peanuts, salt and peanut oil.

This is a great advancement in science

If peanut butter causes elastic to lose its elasticity, then I wonder if it can be used for other purposes too. Perhaps the energy of this reaction could be harnessed to produce a peanut butter power plant. It could be the solution to all future power problems :-D

Putting on weight

Surely peanuts have some thing to do with your weight. If need some weight loss help then visit this Weight loss blog.

That never occurred to me!

My gosh! You're even smarter than my PhD husband. That consuming peanuts could cause me to gain weight hadn't occurred to either of us.

I urge all readers of my blog to stop reading it and instead read the referenced weight loss blog instead. Its authors are much more intelligent and perceptive than I am. (I wasn't even able to figure out how to follow the link they helpfully included.)

sarcasm is.

hillarious.

hmmm

I fear you're being sarcastic.
